Makes me wish I could take a road trip this year. No way to get away with the kids in high school activities that go all summer. But I love a long trip like you describe–the lonelier, the better!
a short trip alone is another thing i would like to do. perhaps the beach or a yurt at the nearby park.
Gives ya a whole new respect for the pioneers, aye?
Blessings.
bingo, baby!
You deserve an award for driving across this scorching land. Welcome back!
thanks, it’s good to be back.
Such a variety in that many miles.
We were on a stretch of Hwy 50 that’s nicknamed “The Loneliest Road in America.” I didn’t really like that name.
i loved watching the change of landscape…
and now you’re home in a new way ….
it does feel a little bit new…different, yes.
You did it all! Welcome back.
:) thanks, jb
….one heck of a road trip!
i have found out that i might prefer less “road” on the next trip.
